Food waste collections and clearer bin rules will roll out in Greenway from next month, after residents told us the current system is confusing.
Greenway ward will get a food-waste collection and simpler recycling rules from next month. This follows months of casework about missed bins, contaminated recycling and fly-tipping on the service road behind The Parade.
I asked the council to trial the scheme here first because Greenway has a high number of flats with communal bins. If it works, it should spread to Harbour and Churchfield.
