The Harbour View hub will offer GP overflow clinics, blood tests and advice sessions — a local win after years of campaigning for better access.
Harbour View’s new community health hub opened this morning. Residents will be able to book blood tests, minor clinics and advice sessions without travelling across the river to the district hospital.
Too many constituents have told my office they cannot get a routine appointment without losing a day’s work. This hub will not fix everything, but it is a practical step that I pressed the ICB and the trust to deliver.
